The polyurethane sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in the chemicals category in the world. With the studies and investments we have made and continue to do in this field, our R&D studies are focused on the finished products that provide added value by reducing the foreign dependency of our country in this import item.

In this context, R&D projects that we carry out jointly with scientists and various people and various public institutions are at the base of our growth.

Our company adopts the understanding of environmental protection, occupational health and safety management, which are among the basic principles of sustainable development beyond producing quality products. This understanding is supported by our activities such as the use of natural resources and energy, effective management of wastes, monitoring of emissions, R&D projects related to the development of environmentally compatible products and technologies.

Receiving the Request and Pricing the Product: The customer carries out the preliminary study of Baymel after receiving the basic information about the product to be requested. It carries out the pricing study according to the amount requested by the customer with the information obtained. The customer is informed with the necessary documentation.

The steps that Baymel will carry out as a standard;

Quality criteria determined by product-related standardization institutions (ASTM, ISO etc.)

Conducting necessary literature and market research for the product

Interpreting technical information about the required product and making formulation studies

Carrying out the necessary R&D work for the product requested by the customer

Sharing the samples of the material with the customer and getting their approval

On-site testing of the formulation by Baymel according to the machines used by the customer

Pricing according to the customer's monthly and annual demand

Delivery of material

1. Identification of Product-Related Standards: Baymel determines the standard dimensions required by the material, within the standards determined by the standardization institutions such as ASTM and ISO, by adhering to the product requested by the customer, or by taking these into account if an additional feature is required. Performs the "Material Preliminary Study". For the required features of the product

2. Literature search: The search for the necessary literature for the production of the material is carried out by Baymel. The production flow chart is drawn according to the characteristics specified in the literature. Depending on the material, the required raw material and the polyamine and/or polyol & prepolymer MDI to be synthesized are prepared.

3. Preparation of the Formulation: Since Polyurethane and Polyurea are composite materials, the components they contain change their properties greatly. It requires sufficient knowledge and expertise to create these materials. Baymel carries out the necessary formulation work with its expert staff. He starts working on the created formulation.

4. Synthesis & R&D studies: Based on the characteristics of the material requested by the customer, Baymel supplies raw materials within the formulation created. It regulates the process to synthesize the Polyamine and/or polyol to be synthesized by adhering to it. Performs the first trials of the material. The material is produced by adhering to the determined standards.

5. Approval of Material: R&D studies are carried out by Baymel. It completes the necessary laboratory tests of the product. The resulting products are shared with the customer. Customer approval is requested by Baymel for the product that has completed its R&D studies.

6. In-Site Production: The required TDSs for the material are shared with the company. The first production is carried out under the control of Baymel to ensure adaptation in the formulation (machine, production conditions). If necessary, changes are made in the formulation.
